The Registered Manager (Matron)/Director of Asmall Hall is Mrs Jennifer Chapman, who has over 20 years' experience as a Registered General Nurse, NVQ 4-Registered Manager's Award and 14 years' experience as a Matron, as well as a Mentorship qualification. Mrs Chapman ensures that staff members are qualified to meet current residents' needs, in accordance with Section 6 of the National Minimum Care Standards.

The Finance Director of the company is Mr Allen Chapman, who manages the financial and administrative aspects of the home, working together with the Administrator, Mrs Pam Myles and General Assistant. Mr Chapman has 22 years' business experience.

The Unit Manager, Mrs Tracy Farrington, is a Registered General Nurse with EMB 998 Teaching and Assessing Certificate, NVQ 4-Registered Manager's Award, D32/D33 A1 Award and Mentorship Certificate.

The Registered Nurses of the home are either registered in General Health Care or Mental Health care.

Senior Carers are NVQ 3 qualified.

A high percentage of the General Health Care staff is either qualified or working towards NVQ Level 2; all staff attend ongoing training to maintain the delivery of quality care.

Kitchen staff have Basic Food Hygiene certificate or above.

We also employ three cooks, four kitchen assistants, two laundry workers, three domestic staff, a maintenance person, gardener, an office administrator, a general assistant, a house keeper and a human resources officer.

All members of staff receive training in the home's philosophy, values and quality standard.
